Daniel is an Indianapolis, Indiana native, having grown up as an inner- city kid on the near north side of the city. Since the very inception of his Christian life, Daniel has had a deep love and great passion for Christian education. He holds Masters degrees in both Education (M.Ed.) and Divinity (M.Div.). Daniel brings a wealth of both educational and pastoral leadership experience to Christian Heritage Academy. He has served as Dean Of Single Men at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, Dean Of Students at University Christian School in Jacksonville, and most recently as Head Of School at Central Christian Academy and Horizon Christian School in Indianapolis. Daniel also has years of classroom teaching experience in the K-12 Christian school environment, as well as on the college level. In addition, Daniel is the founding Pastor of East Pointe Church in Jacksonville, where he served as lead pastor for over 17 years. He also founded and was lead pastor of Indy Metro Church in downtown Indianapolis. He is a visionary and catalytic leader, and excels in team building, collaboration, and leadership development. Daniel has two passionate hobbies: music and boxing. Prior to his miraculous conversion to Christ, Daniel was a professional musician. He is an avid sports lover, and works out regularly at whatever boxing gym he can find available. He is the proud father of three adult children, and the proud grandfather of several totally perfect grandchildren, all of whom live in the Jacksonville area.
